Valley View and AEG announce naming rights extension

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A multi-year extension of the naming rights agreement for the Valley View Casino Center between Valley View Casino & Hotel and AEG was announced Tuesday.

Financial terms, including the length of the deal, were not immediately available.

The new deal will extend a naming rights agreement that first began in 2010. Since that time, Valley View Casino Center has been recognized as one of the premier sporting and live entertainment venues of its kind, ranking in the top 10 in the world for arenas that seat between 10,001 and 15,000 people.

It will also provide the casino and hotel with brand-new signage and branding, in addition to a supply of tickets to various Valley View Casino Center and AEG Facilities events around the world.

Such events include the San Diego Gulls, the Anaheim Ducks’ top AHL affiliate, who make their return to the venue for the first time in almost a decade.

Said Nick Baker, senior VP of AEG Global Partnerships, “we are thrilled to extend the wonderful partnership with Valley View Casino & Hotel which ensures that Valley View Casino Center will continue to play home to the most exciting and highly anticipated live entertainment and sports events in San Diego.”
