Valley View Casino & Hotel gingerbread house display

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Valley View Casino & Hotel led by Executive Pastry Chef Alain Martins has created a whimsical gingerbread exhibit for people to gather around and celebrate the season.

The candy-adorned display has made a home at their award-winning Buffet and is all set with two gingerbread homes, surrounded by candy cane lanes, a path of gumdrops, a frosted bed of snow and many merry trees.

“This year’s whimsical gingerbread display is a village for the gingerbread people of Valley View Casino & Hotel to gather and celebrate the season,” says Alain Martins, Executive Pastry Chef at Valley View Casino & Hotel. “On behalf of everyone in the VVCH pastry department, I would like to wish all of our guests a joyous holiday season full of sweets and laughter.”

This December at Valley View, you’ll also find holiday-themed slot tournaments, a chance to win your choice from three luxury cars or $25,000 cash, and seasonal menus in their award-winning restaurants.
