Veterans Memorial Service was held Sunday

 SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Active duty and retired veterans turned out to the Miramar National Cemetery for the Veterans Memorial Service Sunday.

More than 700 people were expected to be at the annual event. This years guest speaker was decorated World War II veteran Joel Sollender. He spoke with Captain Laura Scotty about the growing role of women in the armed forces.
