Veterans, military personnel and families invited to attend free benefits expo

The Veterans, Military, and Families Benefits Expo is a free San Diego event, set for Tuesday, October 7. 

The expo is aimed at providing information and resources to all veterans, active duty and reserve personnel, and their families. It begins at 8:30 a.m. and goes till 12:30 p.m. at the War Memorial Building in Balboa Park.

Event attendees will receive free information about available services and on-site assistance with benefits, including employment opportunities, housing, health care, education and filing Veterans Administration claims. A light breakfast will be served and snacks will be available later in the morning. There will also be free adult care on-site – you must call (619) 543-4707 for this free service.
