Video released of car involved in Chollas View hit-and-run
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Authorities asked for help Thursday in finding the driver of a car that struck a 63-year-old woman in Chollas View before taking off.
A woman was walking across the 400 block of 47th St. at 1:30 a.m. Saturday when she was struck by a dark grey Toyota Carolla and was thrown into the air, according to San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division. The car then took off southbound towards Imperial Ave.
The woman sustained multiple fractures — including to both legs and her hip — and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The Corolla was believed to be missing a passenger side mirror and would have damage to the front bumper, hood and windshield. No description of the driver was available.
