Volunteers plan to install free smoke alarms in Chula Vista

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – To save lives and help end fire tragedies, the Red Cross launched a nationwide Home Fire Campaign in 2014.

According to the Red Cross says they will be installing free smoke alarms on Saturday, May 4 in Chula Vista and are looking for volunteers.

The Red Cross said they need individuals to help install free smoke alarms in homes, as well as folks to help  provide fire safety information to residents.
