Voters in Lemon Grove to decide on sales tax Measure S in March Primary

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Measure S, placed on the ballot as a result of a citizen’s petition, is a ¾ cent sales tax for the City of Lemon Grove which is estimated to raise approximately $3 million per year.

Funds will be utilized for high priority projects such as:
● New fire engine to replace 22 y/o vehicle
● Downtown renewal
● Graffiti removal
● Homeless solutions
● Street repair

Yadi Altamirano, co-chair Save Lemon Grove Yes on S petition drive & Lemon Grove Councilmember, was in studio to discuss the measure.
