Warm temperatures and pleasant conditions expected for the weekend

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies will make for a pleasant weekend for San Diego.

A deepening marine layer and slow cooling trend will continue to develop through Sunday as low pressure moves by to the North.

Along the coast, clouds will be slow to clear out over the weekend as a marine layer covers the coast and valleys in the mornings. The marine layer will return at night. West of the mountains, there is a chance of patchy drizzle.

Patchy drizzle will be possible west of the mountains. It is also possible that mountains and deserts will experience gusty winds.

Friday’s high temperatures will be 69 degrees along the coast, 78 degrees inland, 74 degrees for the mountains and 96 degrees for the deserts.
