Warm weather closes out weekend

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – San Diego County will have its warmest day in weeks Sunday as a high-pressure system brings dry, hot air into the area.

Highs will be in the high 70s along the coast and mid to high 80s inland. In the mountains temperatures will reach the mid-60s while the desert will also be in the mid to high 80s.

The warm weather won’t last long, however, as temperatures are expected to drop up to 20 degrees in some areas as Thanksgiving nears.

A cool system also brings the chance of rain throughout next week making for a possibly cold and wet Thanksgiving holiday.
