Water main break closes intersection in Logan Heights

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A water main broke near the San Diego Trolley stop in San Diego’s Logan Heights neighborhood early Monday, police said.

The break on Commercial Street between 30th and 31st streets was reported at 4:11 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dan Lasher.

The roadway was closed until further notice, he said.

Despite initial reports that Trolley service was likely to be interrupted, the Trolley was still running as of 7 a.m., according to the city of San Diego’s public utilities department.
