We have two days left to get everyone out of Kabul, says Rep. Darrell Issa

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – President Joe Biden has given the U.S. the deadline of Aug. 31 to get as many refugees as possible out of Afghanistan.

Rep. Darrell Issa, representing California’s 50th Congressional District, joined KUSI’s Jason Austell on Good Morning San Diego to discuss updates with the current evacuation missions in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Flights are not leaving, gates are not processing, and people are unable to leave the Kabul airport as of Sunday morning, PST, Rep. Issa said.

Those living in Kabul have been told to shelter in place.
