Week 12: Morse Tigers 24, Mira Mesa Marauders 7

It’s week 12 of the 2019 high school football season and we headed to southeast San Diego, as the Mira Mesa Marauders took on the Morse Tigers.

The game quickly sparked as Morse Tiger Jaycob Hicks quickly found the end zone on a 15-yard touchdown run to put the Tigers up 6-0.

Hicks would go on to have a monster day and put up 160 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and 10 total tackles.

Two possessions later in the first quarter, Morse would find the end zone on a Francisco Martinez touchdown run putting the Tigers up 12-0.

In the third quarter, Hicks would show he’s not done yet as he breaks free on a 43-yard touchdown run making the game 24-7.

Shortly after, Morse Tiger Elijah Greene would put his seal of approval on the game as he picked off Mira Mesa. Morse would go on to win the game advancing to the quarterfinals next week
