PREVIEW: The Prep Pigskin Report North County Game of the Week is a division 3 1st round match-up between #8 seed Santa Fe Christian and #9 seed Rancho Buena Vista.

The one player that stands out in this game is the counties leading rusher Dorian Richardson.  The Longhorns senior is averaging 240 yard per game and has scored 29 touchdowns.  In his 1st playoff game last year, as a junior he set the record for rushing yards per game with 499, while tying the touchdowns in a game with 8.  This season he has a 493 seven touchdown effort, he also has run for more than 100 yards in nine of the 10 game RBV has played.
Santa Fe Christian is a perennial contender in the playoffs.  They have done it with their ground game as well, and theirs is running back by committee, averaging 244 yards a game, with senior running back Jack Miles as their leading rusher, accounting for 717 yards on the ground.

Expectations for this one, don’t be late to Carlsbad high School (where the game is being played), because kick off time is 7:00 Pm and this one may be over by 8:15 PM considering how much both these teams run the ball.
