Week 3 Pigskin Idol Game of the Week: Scripps Ranch Falcons 55, Fallbrook Warriors 0
The Scripps Ranch Falcons took the win over the Fallbrook Warriors, 55-0, in Week 3’s Pigskin Idol Game of the Week.
The Falcons improved their record to 3-0, and the Warriors drop to 0-3.
The Scripps Ranch offense was really something. Quarterback Luke Durkin, wide receiver Rashad Griffin Jr., running back Nick Gardinera, and wide receiver Dillon Gebase all have chemistry like no other.
The Falcons’ offense is made up of Durkin’s strong arm and his ability to pull off passes like a 43-yard touchdown pass and another slick 15-yard touchdown pass.
Gardinera’s speed and skill to cut past multiple defenders were vital in getting the Falcons on the board.
In the first quarter, Gardinera came running out of the gate with a 35-yard touchdown run, making it 21-0, Falcons. Oh, and did we mention this was just one of his touchdowns of the night?
Griffin Jr.’s athletic ability to be able to catch big passes and be apart of big plays made all the difference. Being able to take risks like going after long passes does not go unnoticed.
The Warriors just couldn’t get it past the Falcons. Not only is the Falcons’ offense a force to be reckoned with, but their defense is just as sharp.
The Falcons went on to shut out the Warriors, 55-0.
Let’s see what in store next week for Scripps Ranch as they take on the La Jolla Vikings (2-1). Will the Falcons continue their winning streak?
Fallbrook will face the Castle Park Trojans (3-0) and will be looking to get a win in the books.

Scripps Ranch will be looking to continue their winning streak.
It is only Week 3 and Falcons’ running back Nick Gardinera already has 220 rushing yards and three touchdowns under his belt. You can bet Gardinera is going to want to make his presence known this Friday night against the Warriors.
Another Falcon who has made an impact is wide receiver Rashad Griffin Jr. His presence has been vital when it comes to the Falcons getting on the board. Griffin Jr. has already scored two touchdowns this season.
In terms of rushing and receiving, it looks like the Falcons are ready to go.
