Week 6 Alarm Clock Pep Rally Game of the Week: Poway Titans 51, Grossmont Foothillers 21

It was a Road Trip-themed homecoming Friday night at the home of the Foothillers as they hosted the Poway Titans in the Alarm Clock Pep Rally Game of the Week.

The Titans came out to play Friday night scoring a total of 51 points on the night.

Colby Kopacz scored three touchdowns on the night and his teammate, Hayden Thompson, had one touchdown, two sacks, and two tackles, which helped lead their team to the victory.

Grossmont scored three touchdowns and 21 total points on the night and was led by quarterback Jaime Odom, but it was not enough to combat the Titans.

Poway is now 4-2 on the season and they are on a three-game winning streak, they will face Vista next week. The Foothillers are now 1-4 and will face Valhalla on Friday night.

Friday morning the fun begins with the Alarm Clock Pep Rally, and Friday night it is Homecoming for the Grossmont Foothillers as they host the Poway Titans.

The visiting Titans are led under head coach Scott Coats and they are 3-2 so far this season. Their only losses coming at undefeated Granite Hills and against the Ramona Bulldogs. They come into Friday night on a two-game winning streak and look to extend that to three in a row. QB Maximus Brown has proved strong so far this season as well as the Poway defense.

The Foothillers are coming into the game at 1-2 under head coach Tom Karlo who is in his 7th season. Quarerback Jamie Odom and his team are looking to snap their losing streak and pick up win number two of the season against the Titans.
