PREVIEW

As we enter Week 6, the Chula Vista Spartans (2-3) will be hosted by the Morse Tigers (2-2) this Friday night.

Chula Vista’s junior wide receiver and corner back Alex Guzman leads the pack in receiving yards with 149 yards. The Spartans defense looks pretty sharp too. The team has a total of 5 interceptions. Speaking of defense, senior defensive tackle and fullback Faleapa Toilolo, stands out with a whopping 6 sacks this season. Morse might want to be on the lookout and keep a tight offense.

Morse has the home advantage this week, as they are undefeated when it comes to playing on their home turf (2-0).

Not only does Morse have the home field advantage, they also have someone named Shamar Martin. Martin is a senior cornerback and running back who has impressed quite a few. He has received offers from Big Ten schools like Nebraska and Wisconsin and Pac- 12 schools like Arizona State and Oregon, just to name a few. Martin ultimately committed to play for UCLA.  This season he stands out with a total of 10 tackles. Let’s see what Martin does with Week 6.

With so much skill on both sides, let’s see where Week 6 takes these two teams!
