Week 7: West Hills Wolf Pack 27, El Cajon Valley Braves 0
West Hills was the dominant team in its game with El Cajon Valley from start-to-finish, as the Wolf Pack’s first offensive play from scrimmage was a 49-yard touchdown pass from Gerardo Hernandez to Kole Klingerman.
The onslaught continued as Klingerman took another easy score to the house, and one blocked PAT later, it was the Wolf Pack by 13.
El Cajon Valley fought back, utilizing an athletic punter to create a first down by way of a fake punt, but the Braves never found an offensive rhythm and could not string together a line of successive successful plays.
Braden Oberg got in on the action to deliver the previously mentioned touchdown pass to Klingerman, and Hernandez finished off the job with a pass to Dylan Snyder to make it 20-0 in a game where the final score would be 27-0.
The quarterback by committee arrangement has worked well for West Hills, as the Wolf Pack move to 4-2, and 1-0 in Grossmont Valley League play, while the El Cajon Valley Braves fall to 3-3, garnering an 0-1 league record.
