Week 9: Serra Conquistadors 62, Clairemont Chieftains 0

It was breast cancer awareness night at Clairemont High School as the Clairemont Chieftains (3-4) hosted the Serra Conquistadors (6-2).

Quickly into the first quarter, quarterback Timmy Zebroski threw for 24 yards, finding Brooke Desta to make the score 8-0, Serra.

This next player has wheels. Serra’s running back, Brevin Lingao, made the score 16-0 with a 50-yard touchdown run.

It’s back to Zebroski, who threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to find Anthony Phomavongsa in the end zone. Serra led, 23-0, still in the first quarter.

At the half, the score was 50-0. Serra came out to win this one playing great defense with a stellar offense.

Zebroski was 12-of-14 passing and threw for 367 yards. He threw four touchdown passes and accounted for 11 rushing yards.

Jaylen Rico had three carries for 44 yards and two touchdowns.

Brevin Lingao had 53 rushing yards and one touchdown.

Broock Desta had four catches for 128 yards and one touchdown.

Mark Genevich had three catches totaling 120 yards, with a touchdown and a fumble return for a touchdown that made the score at the half, 50-0 Serra.

The final, 62-0 Serra Conquistadors. The Conquistadors offense had a total of 541 yards and seven different players scored.
