When In Drought – How to Save Water

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A late-season San Diego storm poured down rain on most of San Diego County Thursday night and Friday morning, giving the region some much-needed saturation.

However, as the city is in one of its worst droughts in years, will the amount of rain we’ve received even make a dent in our water levels? What can be done to help preserve water during a storm?

County water resources manager Dana Friehauf joined Good Morning San Diego to tell us what we can do to save water – even when it’s pouring down all around.
