Woman fatally stabs ex-boyfriend in National City
NATIONAL CITY (CNS) – A South Bay woman was arrested early Monday on
suspicion of stabbing a former boyfriend to death.
The fatal assault at a home in the 1000 block of Paradise Drive in
National City was reported shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, police said.
The victim, 25-year-old Scott Humbert, was pronounced dead at a hospital
from a stab wound to his chest.
His ex-girlfriend, Miranda Mae Gallegos, 35, was arrested about 12:30
this morning at a Holiday Inn on East Plaza Boulevard.
She was booked into Las Colinas women's jail in Santee on suspicion of
murder, stalking, assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting bodily injury on a
spouse or cohabitant, and other charges, with arraignment scheduled for
Wednesday afternoon.
