Woman found dead inside vehicle on Escondido onramp

ESCONDIDO (KUSI) — Escondido police and CHP were on scene Monday of a deceased woman found inside a vehicle on the NB I-15 onramp of El Norte Parkway.

According to Escondido PD, they received the call around 1:10 p.m. of a vehicle stopped on the onramp with both front windows of the vehicle were broken, but not the windshield. The victim was surrounded by blood, but police were unsure of her wounds.

The deceased’s age or race was unknown at this time.
