Woman on UCLA shooter’s ‘kill list’ found dead in Minnesota

LOS ANGELES (KUSI) — The man accused of killing a professor in a shooting on the UCLA campus Wednesday, appears to have killed a woman in Minnesota, where the shooter lived, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck said during an interview on KTLA.

The woman’s name was found on the “kill list” in Mainak Sarkar’s residence, the chief said. It also listed two UCLA professors.

The woman’s body was found inside her home. It appears that Sarkar drove to California from Minnesota after killing the woman, LAPD said.

The gunman shot William S. Klug, a UCLA engineering professor at the school’s campus, Wednesday morning before he turned the gun on himself.

The other UCLA professor on the "kill list" is okay, police said.
