‘Words Alive’ program promotes literacy and love of reading

A local nonprofit is asking people to join their campaign to foster a love of reading.

KUSI’s Sasha Foo volunteered for the group, “Words Alive” and read to a class of kindergarten and first graders at Edison Elementary School in City Heights.

Words Alive has programs for all age groups, for children, teens and families. The goal is to promote literacy as a way to learn and be more successful in life.
