Yes on Measure A advocates say it will actually encourage homebuilding
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Two advocates for Yes on Measure A stopped by Good Morning San Diego to explain why people should for the measure.
Measure A, also called the Safeguard Our San Diego Countryside Initiative, would require voters to approve some changes to the County’s general plan, changes that would increase residential density (the number of dwelling units in an area) in semi-rural and rural areas.
Executive Director of Grow the San Diego Way, Inc., JP Theberge, and former County Supervisor, Pam Slater Price, said Measure A will save taxpayers millions of dollars over the long run and will encourage homebuilding and in the right areas.
