You Can’t Play Here!

Monday, November 21, 2011 – Some north county parents called KUSI's Michael Turko when they were told their kids can't play outdoors where they live. Turko says they live in an apartment complex that claims it's a noise and safety issue.

It's against the law for landlords to discriminate against parents with kids, unless they're running an over fifty-five senior citizens complex. That's definitely not the case here, they rented to lots of young families, and have dozens of kids on the premises. But now they're trying to keep those kids on a tight leash with all kinds of rules… telling them you can play all you want, but you can't play here.
